Join Jeremy Schumacher,   Forester and Operations Manager for Ozark Koala Ecosystem Services and an amatuer herpetologist, for a hands on live animal presentation showcasing his animal collection ranging from cockroaches, frogs, lizards, to snakes. Jeremy moved to Southern Illinois 14 years ago. His love of animals led him into his career as an ecological restoration specialist. Jeremy has been searching for reptiles and amphibians since he was 10 and never quite understood why these animals are so feared by so many. He hopes by reaching out through hands on educational programs and sharing his love of these animals with others, that they will in turn share their new found respect for them as well.
